Do you really need to be in the oil and gas industry before you can fully be involved in Connectize?
Lately, I have come to realize that you don’t need to be in a particular sector before you can shine there, especially in this age of technology and social media.
Think of this.
Can the CEO of a particular oil and gas company handle the company’s social media pages?
Do they have to do the writing, managing, appointment bookings, etc.?
Do they? No. They don’t have to.
There’s always a social media manager, an executive assistant, a creative writer, and the list goes on.
But how do you find those opportunities or become privileged if you’re yet to come out of your shell?
Last week, someone said, “Sarah, you’re everywhere,” and I smiled.
Yes, I am. The reason is this.
No one will ever find me in my house. This is why visibility is very important.
Start by sharing what you know and what you do best.
This will prompt organizations to get to know more about you.
You could start up a visibility challenge on Connectize.
What skill do you have that you think an oil and gas company could need?
